What Are Library Groups?

Koha allows for library grouping both at a single and hierarchical level. Library groups allow for libraries to group together due to special library needs or for geographical reasons.

How do Currency Exchange Rates Work in Koha?

If a library places orders from more than one country Koha will allow libraries to input currency exchange rates so that the acquisitions module will properly calculate totals.

Can Staff Permissions be Done in Bulk?

Yes!

There is a plugin to allow libraries to create Permission Templates with the combination of Patron Lists- attaching them to a Permission Template. This process will really streamline the process of assigning staff permissions, especially when there are many staff members that share the same permissions!

Direct Links Built into Reports

A new feature is introduced in 22.05 which will allow direct links to viewing and editing from within the results of a report.

In the Koha Reports Module, if a report includes certain columns, the data in the columns will automatically offer a menu of options.

Manage Matches When Importing

In this week’s Monday Minutes see how Kelly and Jessie show how a library can now manage the matches found when importing a file through "Stage Marc Records for Import".

Editing Within the Advanced Search

In this week's Monday Minutes, Kelly and Jessie show a new option when using the Advanced Search feature in Koha.

System Preference for Modification of Mandatory Fields

In 22.05, a new system preference is introduced in Koha to distinguish between what libraries need from patrons when self-registering and what fields they can modify in their already existing accounts. Prior to this, these were driven by the same system preference.
