In this process, we focus on the Matching Actions that Koha gives the user when importing files into the system.
A library can determine its matching rule, for example, ISBN. Next choice, a library will decide, if when a match is found, what should it do.
This new feature will add the display of all matches during the import process and also a staff member with the correct permissions will be able to select any individual record with a match, that should be used during import.
There is now an option to 'Ignore the Match' instead of the original action that was chosen to replace.
In the video, Kelly says, that when 'ignore the match' is chosen it will not bring in the record, which is inaccurate! If you choose 'ignore the match', it will follow the rules you set up.
For example, If you choose to 'add record if no match is found', hitting 'ignore' will add the record to the system.
