A free service for library classrooms from ByWater Solutions
Koha Klassmates offers free hosted installations of the Koha Open Source ILS to library school instructors for use in their classrooms. Using this service library school students can learn what it means to use a real ILS before entering the workforce.

About the Program
ByWater is a company of librarians for librarians supporting a product that was created by librarians for librarians. We have developed Koha Klassmates as a way to give back to the community and provide a dedicated, free hosted Koha installation for library schools nationwide. Our vision is that the Klassmates program empowers library school instructors with a real open source ILS for students to explore and get hands-on experience before starting that first job in a library. They will have the background knowledge of how a fully functional, web-based ILS functions.
