ByWater Solutions fully embraces the ideals and practices of open source software. All custom development sponsored by our partners and developed internally is publicly available at ByWater's GitHub repositories.
After a development has been tested and approved by the sponsor, we submit the changes to the community in the preferred format (most often a patch or a pull request).
At ByWater, we believe transparency is a key to success. That is why we submit all the custom developments, plugins, tools and documentation we create. After all, sharing is caring! Our Development Team provides:
- Active leadership in the community
- Librarian driven enhancements
- 100% of code contributed to the community

Lucas received his MLIS from San Jose State University. He spent 7 years working in public libraries and 4 as a systems librarian. In his free time, Lucas loves skiing, mountain biking, and anything outdoors.
Jesse uses his 20 years of experience in operational management and client relations to streamline development processes and ensure that custom developments are delivered on time and according to specifications. Using his history of success in spearheading new initiatives and managing customer correspondence, Jesse follows new feature developments from conception all the way to realization. He has worked in many different business forums and is perfectly suited to bring the levels of organization and communication we are know for to our Koha partners.
