Monday Minutes: Viewing Issues and Renewals

In this Monday Minutes, Kelly and Jessie show a new way to see an item's issues and renewals right from the holdings table.

Viewing Issues and Renewals

Since 20.05 Koha has allowed libraries to configure what their holdings table looked like. This was a fantastic update as each library would like to see different data depending on their workflows. There is now the option to view both the item's issues and the item's renewals from this holding table!!

By default, these columns will be hidden. If a library would like to have these columns show the issues and/or the renewals by default, an administrator can go into the Table Settings (found in the Administration Module) and update it. An easier way to update these columns would be to use the wrench found in the holdings table (if your login has this admin privilege). Clicking this wrench will bring the user directly to the table which is(Table id: holdings_table> under Catalogue).

If a library chooses to not have the columns revealed by default, a user can use the Column Settings (cog) option found above the Holdings table, to add these columns temporarily.
