In this week's Monday Minutes, Kelly and Jessie talk about customizing reasons for purchase in Koha's purchase suggestions.

Customizations

Authorized Value

1. Navigate to Administration --> Authorized values
2. Search for OPAC_SUG
3. The authorized value for category OPAC_SUG provides a customizable list list of reasons displayed in the suggestion form on the OPAC.
4. Examples
   1. Book Club - Extra Copies for Book Club
   2. Media - Saw on TV/Internet/News
   3. Subject - Want more on the Subject
5. Tutorial on adding Authorized Values Monday Minutes: Authorized Values
6. Click Save

System Preferences

• Navigate to Administration --> System preferences --> OPAC --> Suggestions
• This is will all the associated system preferences to Purchase Suggestions in Koha
