Anita Vassallo, Director, Montgomery County Public Libraries, recently commented:
Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) is very pleased to have signed with ByWater Solutions for both the Koha ILS and the Aspen Discovery layer. This was our first ILS migration since 1999, and its success resulted from effective collaboration between staff at all levels of our organization and the team at ByWater Solutions. We are proud to be the first multi-branch public library system in Maryland to switch to the Koha open source ILS, and we have already experienced significant benefits as a result of this decision. Our customer interface is much improved, especially on mobile, the support from ByWater is responsive, and the open source nature of both products has enabled us to improve upon the products to meet our needs and workflows."
Nate Curulla, CRO, ByWater Solutions, recently commented on the migration:
It was fantastic to work with everyone involved at MCPL on this large and complex migration. I truly believe that MCPL already is and will continue to be a positive change maker for Koha ILS and Aspen Discovery. They have already been instrumental in driving developments and expanding the reach of open source. We look forward to partnering with them for years to come!"
