Highland City Library Live on Koha and Aspen Discovery with ByWater Solutions

ByWater Solutions, America’s forefront provider of Open Source library technology support, announced that Highland City Library in Highland, Utah is now live on Koha and Aspen Discovery with ByWater support and hosting services.

ByWater Solutions completed the migration of 37,000 bibliographic records and 43,000 item records.

About Highland City Library

Library service has always been important for residents of Highland. From 1994 to 2001 residents of Highland and Alpine were served by a joint-use facility at Mountain Ridge Jr. High. In 2008 Highland City built a new city hall and dedicated a portion of the building for a city library. The Highland City Library opened October 25, 2008 with a collection of about 25,000 books. The Library now houses over 50,000 items, provides access to over 200,000 e-books/audiobooks, and provides a wide range of programs for all ages.
