Addie Van Salisbury of the Aspen Discovery Implementation Team commented on the migration:

Dubuque County Library District is a great addition to the Aspen Discovery community! Throughout the implementation process they really made sure to envision the patron experience in their catalog and how best to meet the needs of their patrons. They are already making sure to spotlight event information, resources, and programs throughout the catalog utilizing many features within Aspen."

Mike Wright, Library Director of Dubuque County Library District also commented on the migration:

Dubuque County Library District's migration to Koha/Aspen was as smooth as such a large transition could be: not perfect, but the bumps were minor. Staff at ByWater were endlessly helpful, patient and attentive throughout the transition and remained so after go-live. In our multi-branch system, staff appreciate the simplified workflow for transferring items between branches, while as the Director, I appreciate the flexibility of Koha -- particularly the reports. And the Aspen catalog receives high marks for usability from patrons, especially e-book users.
We're very happy we went with Koha/Aspen and ByWater."
