Dothan Houston County Library System Goes Live on Koha with ByWater Support

ByWater completed the transition of the library's 89,000 plus records from SirsiDynix Symphony and is providing ongoing support services to the library. The library's customized Koha OPAC can be viewed at https://catalog.dhcls.org/.

IT Specialist, Richard Danley, recently commented on the migration:

Transitioning from one ILS to another can be an arduous task. The process of data extraction, importation, and validation can be finicky, and errors may not be discovered until after the system goes live.
