ByWater Solutions Announces March 2023 Community Giveback Winner

Each month, ByWater Solutions selects one library to be awarded $500. These funds are meant to support libraries and their communities and fill gaps in funding to further library goals.

We are excited to announce our March 2023 winner of the ByWater Community Giveback, the Benbrook Public Library in Texas!

The funds will be used to support the library's summer reading fundraising event, and specifically, to purchase a dunk tank for the event.

Erica Richardson, Director of the Benbrook Public Library, commented:

The Benbrook Public Library is currently in fundraising mode for a new library. We have done everything from restaurant fundraisers to pumpkin decorating, and are about to have a live telethon in a few weeks to help raise money!

The most enjoyable one we have participated in so far, was for our Summer Reading Closing Party - we had snowcones and a dunk booth that the librarians participated in! We would like to recreate the dunk booth, mainly so other librarians can get their stresses out on each other in a playful way.

This will help us so much. We love ByWater, and look forward to our continued working relationship."

The Benbrook Public Library will enhance our clients’ quality of life by providing a safe and comfortable facility and resources that meet informational needs, encourage lifelong learning, provide cultural enrichment, and support responsible citizenship. We will select one library a month to donate $500 to their Non-profit 501c3 organization such as Friends of the Library, Library Foundation, or other funding entity. These funds are meant to support libraries and their communities and fill gaps in funding to further library goals. We LOVE libraries. Our team is made up of librarians and library fanatics.
