ByWater Solutions Announces April 2023 Community Giveback Winner

Each month, ByWater Solutions selects one library to be awarded $500. These funds are meant to support libraries and their communities and fill gaps in funding to further library goals.

We are excited to announce our April 2023 winner of the ByWater Community Giveback, the Cherry Hill Public Library in New Jersey!

The funds will be used to expand the library's collection to continue to meet its goals of creating a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive collection.

Tierney Miller, Supervisor of Reference & Adult Services at the Cherry Hill Public Library, commented:

CHPL is always looking for ways to expand collections to include authors from diverse backgrounds, with stories told in their own voices. If CHPL and our partnership non-profit, Friends of the Cherry Hill Public Library, were to receive this grant, we would use the funds to purchase additional quality titles, in formats such as print, audiobook, and eBook, focused on ‘own voices’ writers and stories firmly grounded in EDI principles."

We will select one library a month to donate $500 to their Non-profit 501c3 organization such as Friends of the Library, Library Foundation, or other funding entity. These funds are meant to support libraries and their communities and fill gaps in funding to further library goals. We LOVE libraries. Our team is made up of librarians and library fanatics. We're always looking for ways to give back and create opportunities where we can to support libraries. This is a small token of thanks for all the hard work libraries do in their communities every day.
