ByWater Solutions Announces March 2022 Community Giveback Winner

Each month, ByWater Solutions selects one library to be awarded $500. These funds are meant to support libraries and their communities and fill gaps in funding to further library goals.

We are excited to announce our March 2022 winner of the ByWater Community Giveback, Camp Verde Community Library in Camp Verde, Arizona.

Camp Verde Community Library dedicates its resources to providing library services that are forward-looking while honoring the tradition of a welcoming, hospitable place and the can-do attitude that built the library and the Town of Camp Verde.

About Camp Verde Community Library

Our mission is to make Camp Verde Community Library the preferred destination for community members by delivering outstanding value, an exceptional patron experience and continuous innovation. We achieve this when we listen to our patrons, provide superior service, embrace positive change, and live up to our motto: “good company is always welcome…”
Friends of Camp Verde Library are initiating a Laundromat Library; the goal of which is to provide free books to children and adults that utilize the laundromat in town. The Friends are building a bookshelf that will be installed in Fort Verde Laundromat and also donating a new notice board to the business owner.

With the funds provided by the Community Giveback grant, the Friends will buy materials for the bookshelf and also be able to buy new books for the program. The Friends will maintain the Laundromat Library, making sure the shelves are full, keeping the area tidy, etc. All the books and materials will be free for anyone at the laundromat to use or to take home.

Camp Verde Community Library is the social hub of Camp Verde, AZ. Our many programs support the community by allowing us to directly engage with our patrons. Music in the Stacks, Open Mic Night, Teen Game night, and our Youth STEAM program are just some of the highlights that make our library an integral part of Camp Verde.Learn more about the Carnegie-Stout Public Library here: https://www.campverde.az.gov/d...

About the ByWater Community Giveback

We will select one library a month to donate $500 to their Non-profit 501c3 organization such as Friends of the Library, Library Foundation, or other funding entity. These funds are meant to support libraries and their communities and fill gaps in funding to further library goals. We LOVE libraries. Our team is made up of librarians and library fanatics. We're always looking for ways to give back and create opportunities where we can to support libraries. This is a small token of thanks for all the hard work libraries do in their communities every day.
