Monday Minutes: Item Floating Groups

In this week's Monday Minutes, Jessie and Kelly talk about a new feature coming this summer that will allow libraries within a consortium to add the option within library groups for floating rules with those library groups. This new enhancement is from bug 9525.

Library Groups

This feature makes it possible to use library groups for creating floating groups. It adds a checkbox “Is local float group” to the library groups configuration. For libraries already using Library Groups,, when editing a Library Group configuration, a new option will appear to add this Library Group as a "Local Float Group".
