Monday Minutes: Filtering Overdue Report

Jessie and Kelly talk about the system preference that will allow libraries to filter an otherwise extensive Overdue Report found in the Circulation Module.

System Preference

The system preference, FilterbeforeOverdueReport, if set to "Require" will allow staff to run this report more specifically to what Overdues they are looking for. If this is set to "Don't Require", running this report will be a large and potentially an overwhelming report. When the cursor hovers on this report, it will warn that it is an extensive report to run.

When this system preference is set to "Require", this report will run more efficiently and bring the library to the exact Overdues they are looking for. The filters allow for libraries to look for overdue by patron category, library, item type, due date range and so much more!
