We are hiring a Project Coordinator!

ByWater Solutions was created with the express goal of changing the way libraries interact with their software and the vendors who support them. Our company is made up of a small and close-knit group of librarians, book lovers, technology and data geeks, Tolkien fans, space nerds, knitters, marathon runners, animal lovers, and most importantly, library lovers and open-source fanatics.

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Implementations Team.

Job Overview

ByWater Solutions is the global leader in open-source library automation integration and support. Our organization provides highly customized library technology solutions tailored to the needs of each library.

The Project Coordinator works with all contributing departments to identify deliverables, establish timelines, and obtain the resources needed to complete system implementations. You will be responsible for project success by taking the lead in ensuring that deliverables are assigned and completed on time and adjusting the project plan when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordinator

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related issues.

  • Gather partner requirements and develop project outlines, including deliverables, timelines, and team assignments. Keep relevant systems up-to-date.

  • Identify contractual obligations and account for their impact on project plans.

  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings.

  • Manage project fluctuations to ensure successful completion.

  • Serve as the application owner of the company’s project management software. Identify opportunities for improvement and integration into relevant tools and provide application support to end users.

  • Interact with project teams to ensure they have the necessary resources and meet their deadlines.

  • Collect data to support project final reports and marketing efforts.

  • ~10% Travel required

  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience working with project management software.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of library operations.
  • Experience with the Koha library management system.
  • Ability to handle assigned tasks independently and also collaboratively across departments.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time, telecommuting (permanent) position that requires working from home and an approximate 10% travel requirement. ByWater offers performance bonuses, 401k, medical, great pay, on-the-job skills training, and the chance to work with a talented group of team members.

Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000/year
