The Uintah Basin Library SystemChooses ByWater Solutions’ Koha Support
ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that theUintah Basin Library Systemof Utah is now live on their Koha open source integrated library system. The Uintah Basin Library catalog is made up of three branches which include the Uintah County Library, the Roosevelt Library and the Duchesne Library.
ByWater Solutions has completed the migration of the Libraries’ 180,000 plus items and will be providing ongoing hosting and Koha support services for them. Their custom mobile-friendly OPAC can be viewed athttp://uintah.bywatersolutions.com

The Uintah Basin Library System is made up of libraries from Vernal, Roosevelt and Duchesne Utah. The collaborative library catalog allows patrons to search all libraries at once or one library at a time, filter their search even further by requesting to only see books that are available andset and customize notices to be sent, including when a book is checked out or coming due. Patrons will also be given access to the use of a “shopping cart‚Äù that allows them to request, check-out or place holds on several books all at once instead of just one book at a time,a “did you mean‚Äù feature that suggests searches for you if you may have spelled a book or author incorrectly,privacy control and easily updating their account and much more.
