The Cedar Park Public Library Goes Live on ByWater Solutions Koha Support

ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that the Cedar Park Public Library, in Texas is now live on Koha with ByWater Solutions! ByWater completed the transition of the library’s 122,000 plus holdings from Symphony ILS earlier this year and is providing ongoing support services to the library. The library’s customized Koha OPAC can be viewed at:

Dani Elder, Systems Integration Librarian for ByWater Solutions recently commented on the migration to Koha for her home library:

I love the new features I have available in the opac as a patron of CPPL with Koha. I can select if I want to keep my reading history, my preferences for notices, and the opac is mobile user friendly now. With the previous ILS, I did a lot of enlarging and scrolling around on my phone to renew a book. I also like receiving text messages about the items that are due or when holds are available. I am proud to support my library as a patron and as a ILS support vendor.
