ByWater Solutions and Talkingtech LTD. Announce Formalized Partnership
ByWater Solutions, America’s forefront provider of Koha support, and Talkingtech LTD have announced a formal partnership today regarding integration of Talkingtech’s i-Tiva patron outbound telephone notification, SMS text messaging application and inbound self service application for patrons into Koha.
Currently, ByWater Solutions and Talkingtech have 5 joint customers utilizing the outbound patron telephone notification system. This allows libraries to send notifications to patrons for overdues, renewals, holds and fines via phone and SMS text messaging. The future integration of inbound functions will allow patrons the flexibility of checking on their account, renewing items, placing holds or talking to a library staff member during library working hours.
