Staff Spotlight: Laura O'Neil

Each month, we highlight one of our talented team members. This month, our Staff Spotlight will focus on Laura O'Neil, Support Advocate at ByWater Solutions.

Who is Laura?

Laura recently celebrated 2 years at ByWater Solutions as a Support Advocate. Over the past two years Laura has been instrumental in the support of our partners, always taking the time to dig into the issues they are experiencing so that they get the help they need as quickly as possible.

Nate Curulla, CRO at ByWater Solutions, commented:

"Laura's response times on tickets are always great and the feedback we get from our partners is always extremely positive when it comes to their interactions with her."

Laura was born and raised in Ohio, where she earned a BFA in Photography from Ohio University and an MLIS from Kent State University. After meandering down a career path that wound through AmeriCorps, the local tourism bureau, a couple of restaurants, a granite shop, and the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, she landed in the outreach department at the Athens County Public Libraries, where her greatest joy was getting to drive the bookmobile. Laura still lives in Ohio, where she enjoys reading, tiling, and visiting the thrift store.
