Staff Spotlight: Kendra Little

Each month, we highlight one of our talented team members. This month, our Staff Spotlight will focus on Kendra Little of the Systems Team!

Who is Kendra Little?

Kendra Little is an invaluable member of our Systems Team, and recently celebrated her one year workaversary of working at ByWater! Kendra’s colleagues describe her as having excellent technical skills and always willing to lend a hand and a patient word.

Kendra originally went to school with dreams of becoming a doctor, although she has always had a deep love for computers and everything technology. After an unlikely encounter, while completing her B.S. in Sports Medicine at Howard University, she decided to alter her career path and learn about Linux. Following graduation, she landed her first job in IT as a software administrator. Since then, she has had two Linux Systems Administrator positions before joining ByWater Solutions. She hopes that she can apply her technical skills to assist ByWater Solutions with its continuous growth. Originally from Long Island, NY Kendra has been a resident of the District of Columbia for over 10 years. In her free time, she enjoys riding her bike around the national mall, attending sporting events, reading, and serving her community.

Kendra's colleagues recently commented:

"Kendra is a great team player and she is always willing to collaborate with others to find the best solution to a problem. She keeps our Aspen servers running in tip top shape and is always there to ask the questions that you never thought to ask before. Truly, she is a gift to us all and we are so glad she is here."
