Staff Spotlight: Julie Wilson

Each month, we highlight one of our talented team members. This month, our Staff Spotlight will focus on Julie Wilson, Support Lead at ByWater Solutions.

Who is Julie?

Julie recently celebrated 5 years at ByWater Solutions, and has been a fixture in the Support Department. Her colleagues state that “Julie is excellent at interacting with partners and consistently brings a positive attitude to every meeting. Julie is a staple at Support stand-ups and always contributes to the discussion, which benefits everyone working to resolve support issues.”

Nate Curulla, CRO at ByWater Solutions, commented:

"Over the past 5 years Julie has worked diligently to support our customers and at keeping communication channels open between our libraries and our team members."

Julie has a MLS from Texas Woman’s University and has worked in special libraries in the field of print journalism. She stepped away from libraries to raise her daughter and has come back into the field to work at ByWater. She has had a lifetime love for libraries and currently lives in central Texas.

Julie's Favorite Part of Working at ByWater

I love working at ByWater Solutions because I get to help our partners discover what their system can do for them. And with over 700 system preferences it is amazing what they can do to adjust it to fit their needs. Plus the mindset of our libraries is incredible: they are working to keep information available to all citizens in their community. Having worked as a librarian at a couple newspapers, this is so important for me."
