Staff Spotlight
Staff Spotlight: Holly Mills
Each month, we highlight one of our talented team members. This month, our Staff Spotlight will focus on Holly Mills, Educator at ByWater Solutions.
Who is Holly?
Holly recently celebrated one year at ByWater Solutions as an Educator. Holly came to ByWater with public library experience, most recently at the Jackson County Public Library, and used her experience there working with Koha to hit the ground running educating partners!
Nate Curulla, CRO at ByWater Solutions, commented:
Holly has built on her foundation of knowledge and has incorporated the ByWater ethos to become a talented and trusted educator for our partner libraries."
Holly spent her childhood in libraries. After a long and fruitful ramble through native plant restoration and community organizing, she found her way back to the library. As an organizer, she discovered a love of teaching and helping groups collectively reach solutions. Public libraries were the perfect place to continue that work with people of all ages and backgrounds. She is excited to share her training skills with the community of Bywater partners. She still loves plants.
Holly's Favorite Part of Working at ByWater
As an extrovert working from home, I love the time I spend visiting partner libraries for in-person Koha and Aspen training. It's a delight to facilitate a room full of librarians finding their confidence and curiosity with a new piece of (open source!!) technology."
Thanks, Holly, for all you do at ByWater Solutions!
