Philadelphia FIGHT Chooses ByWater Solutions’ Koha Support
ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that the AIDS Library at Philadelphia FIGHT, of Philadelphia, PA. is now live on their installation of the Koha integrated library system.
ByWater Solutions completed the migration for the Philadelphia FIGHT last year and will be providing ongoing Koha support and hosting services to them.
Allie Fraser, Librarian, AIDS Library, spoke of the migration process with ByWater:
“ByWater Solutions customer and technical support are excellent for this small special collection library and its unique titles. As Collection Management Librarian, I work with volunteers in the AIDS Library to catalog materials that circulate. I found the ByWater team easy to work with re: the migration of materials and borrower records from a much older version of Koha. The system was ‘live’ on schedule; a webinar helped prepare us for 3.12 implementation. The process overall has been seamless with minimal interruption of service. Module screens for cataloging, circulation, and especially the OPAC are user-friendly. I look forward to future collaboration.”
