This month, our Partner Spotlight will focus on the Zula B. Wylie Public Library in Cedar Hill, Texas. We spoke with Kelsey Armistead, Marketing Coordinator, to tell us more about the library.

Tell us a little bit about the Zula B. Wylie Public Library

Zula B. Wylie Public Library is the heart of the community - the Door to Discovery! We love to connect our patrons to one another through a variety of experiences. Our forever library is currently under construction and we're SO excited to be growing from a 10,000 sq. ft space to 40,000 sq. ft!

Tell us something unique/interesting about your library

The new library will be a unique "Library in a Park" and also include a Museum of History, scheduled to open in Spring 2024.

How does being a part of the open source community help the Zula B. Wylie Public Library?

It has been great to partner with the ByWater Solutions team! Being a part of the open source community allows us to streamline our collaboration with other Best Southwest libraries and is a key component in being able to offer our unique Best Southwest partnership library card. We love how Koha can be accessed from anywhere, providing more opportunities and helping us better serve our community at outreach events. The technological advances offered through Koha and ByWater Solutions will also enhance our services on a greater scale as we move into our new library!"
