October 2024 Librarian of the Month

Every month ByWater Solutions recognizes a librarian that has made an impact on their library and community. We are happy to announce the October 2024 Librarian of the Month is Stephanie Rinehart-Joseph, Marketing Librarian at the Nesmith Library (part of the GMILCS, Inc. Consortium) in New Hampshire! Stephanie was nominated by Azra Palo, Head of Youth Services at the Nesmith Library, who commented:

Stephanie joined the Nesmith Library in May of 2023 and quickly jumped right into leading our library's Aspen onboarding. With an approaching August due date, she oversaw implementation, training, and troubleshooting. Stephanie spearheaded our Aspen brainstorming sessions and smoothly balanced our wants and needs with this exciting overlay.

This is a feat for any librarian, but especially one who was brand new to a library and learning the lay of the land. Not to mention, she did everything Aspen related while also supporting the programming librarians through her first summer season with event publicity at the Nesmith Library. She is actively involved in our consortium's user experience group and keeps staff up to date with all things Aspen.

We are grateful to have Stephanie on our team because because she is innovative, a patient trainer, and has a sense of humor that makes any day of technology hiccups much more manageable for staff."
