National Library Lovers Month: Cedar Park Public Library

We're celebrating National Library Lovers Month by celebrating positive stories from our library partners.

Kelly McElligott, Educator at ByWater Solutions, shared her story:

I have enjoyed seeing all the fabulous ways libraries are finding to engage their communities virtually with Story Times, Science Class, Cooking Classes, Meditation and so much more all through the power of Zoom/Facebook/Google Meets/YouTube Live. I follow Cedar Park Public Library in Texas and have really appreciated their willingness to try new things and continue to provide amazing library support. They recently started having patrons place holds on Grab Bags. These grab bags will be a bag of 10 items focused around a genre or age handpicked by a librarian! How fabulous is this? My daughter would love a bag of potentially 10 great Fantasy books! Since browsing is not available, this is the next best thing!"
