Koha ILS

Koha on Zotero (and other social Koha sites)

I took a webinar on Zotero taught by Jason Puckett earlier this month and since then I have been playing a bit more with it. I installed the beta release of version 2.0 which includes the ability to share libraries and store data online. This means that you can see my public library by visiting my page on Zotero. It also means that I can join groups and share resources with those who have similar interests to me.

There has been a Koha Group on Zotero for a while, but it doesn’t have many members, so sign up if you’re a Zotero user/fan. I also started a Open Source for Libraries Group today and shared some resources I’ve been looking at recently.

To learn more about Zotero, check out Jason’s guide. And to find other Koha related social networking sites you can check out the list on the Koha wiki. Finally you can find a series of Koha related feeds in the Yahoo! Pipe (let me know if I’m missing a Koha specific feed you think should be there).

All of these sites will help with your open source and Koha education!
