Go Live in New Hampshire

Monday Feb. 13 I had the pleasure of being on site for the go live of Koha for the Kimball Library, Plaistow Public Library and Sandown Public Library. I was at the front line for the first time on a go live day. I must say that the excitement from both the patrons and staff makes me love my job even more.

Most of my time was behind the circulation desk helping answer any questions that arose. Even while we were trying to work a few things out at the circulation desk, I was impressed to see the patrons very interested in what we were doing. I was amazed on how fast after using Koha it became a bit like second nature for the circulation staff.

All in all it was a great day. I would like to thank all three libraries for making us feel so welcome. I can’t wait for the next time I visit these libraries.
