February 2023 Librarian of the Month

Every month ByWater Solutions recognizes a librarian that has made an impact on their library and community. We are happy to announce the February Librarian of the Month is Patrick Cox of the Supreme Court of Nevada Law Library in Nevada!

Patrick was nominated by Ann Walsh Long, Director of the Supreme Court of Nevada Law Library, who commented:

Patrick Cox, Supreme Court of Nevada Library Technician II, has uploaded tens of thousands of MARC records, changed our collections to identify our 8 online database collections, modified several catalog record locations to reflect our current shifting project, added cover images, and attended regularly scheduled Koha training webinars to make sure our catalog utilizes the most current features. Patrick has managed to do all of this in the past six months and works diligently every day with a delightful attitude. Patrick’s background working in several other law libraries and knowledge of legal cataloguing ensure our Koha catalog accurately reflects our holdings to legal researchers throughout Nevada. We are very fortunate to have Patrick!"
