Diane White, Library Director, commented on their decision to move to Koha with ByWater:
“The ByWater Koha system, backed by the wonderful support and training teams, has made my arrival as the Daniel Morgan Academy’s Library Director quite smooth. Although I had heard Nicole speak at many conferences and events, and understood the concept of an open source ILS, I was totally unfamiliar with Koha as an operational platform. Your system has proven to be very intuitive and unbreakable , I can try things, investigate modules and read documentation in numerous fora , and, most of the time, I am able to figure things out. About the only thing I could recommend would be to produce a Koha for Dummies book; for someone with no computer science or systems experience some of the documentation is a little daunting. But, whenever that happens I can always rely on your patient and friendly support staff. They have been especially helpful in assisting me through the post-migration work, and I look forward to continuing to draw on their expertise.”
