The University Libraries at Virginia Tech are the first R1 research libraries to adopt Koha as their LMS and marks a turning point for the Koha project in terms of large scale academic library adoption. Virginia Tech First R1 Library to Adopt Koha ILS with ByWater Solutions Support
The University Libraries at Virginia Tech (VT) became the first R1 research library to implement Koha (ILS), using ByWater Solutions Support to migrate more than 1.5 million holdings from its former Sierra ILS.
