ByWater Solutions Welcomes Carmen Hernandez as Koha ILS Trainer
ByWater Solutions, an open source community supporter and the U.S.’ forefront provider of Koha support, is happy to welcome Carmen Hernandez as our new Koha ILS Trainer. Carmen will join the ByWater team in training our newest partners on how to use their Koha Open Source ILS systems.
Carmen has been a lifelong lover of books and spent numerous hours of her childhood in libraries, escaping into the various worlds of fiction. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University and has spent the last several years in the hospitality field as a manager, customer service representative and new hire trainer. Carmen will use the skills she has developed in the hospitality industry to provide the superior customer support and training services to ByWater’s partners. In her spare time she loves to read; bake and decorate cakes; and spend time with her friends, family and cat Milo.
Carmen commented on her recent decision to join ByWater Solutions:
“I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to join the ByWater Solutions team. I look forward to being able to help train and educate librarians about the benefits associated with using open source and Koha.”
Nicole Engard, Vice President of Education, commented:
“We are excited to welcome Carmen to the Koha support and training team at ByWater. Carmen’s experience, excitement, and desire to learn will make her an excellent Koha trainer.”
