Monday Minutes: ERM Enhancements

In this week's Monday Minutes, Nick and Jessie show off the new additional fields added to the Licenses, Agreements, and Packages section of the ERM. In addition, a new "platform" field has been added to ERM's usage data providers, allowing the harvest of SUSHI usage data from providers that require this parameter.

Additional Fields
To set up additional fields in the ERM navigate to Administration.
Scroll down to the bottom right and click on Additional fields under the subheading Additional parameters. Staff with permission (manage_additional_fields permission or the superlibrarian permission) will see 3 new fields to customize.
- ERM licenses (erm_licenses)
- ERM agreements (erm_agreements)
- ERM packages (erm_packages)
Once additional fields have been added, staff will see additional fields in the ERM form.
- Name: provide the name of how you want it to appear.
- Authorized value category: if you want to add a dropdown menu to the field choose an authorized value category here (you can also create a new authorized value category if you need to).
- Repeatable: check this box if you want to be able to repeat the data based on this field.
- Searchable: check this box if you want to be able to search data based on this field.
Click save.
Platform Field - SUSHI Providers
This enhancement adds a new Service Platform field to ERM's usage data providers, allowing the harvest of SUSHI usage data from providers that require this parameter.
