Monday Minutes: User Permission to Delete Borrowers

In this week's Monday Minutes, Kelly and Jessie show off a new enhancement that allows administrators to control, at a more fine-grained level, which users may delete patron records. Administrators will now see a new delete_borrowers user permission. This new enhancement which will be available in 21.11 is driven from [15788] Split borrowers permission into create/edit and delete permissions.

Staff Permissions

  1. Access your staff account
  2. Click on the More Dropdown Menu
  3. Select Set Permissions
  4. Select Show details on the right of Add, modify and view patron information (borrowers)
  5. Notice that there is an option to Delete patrons (delete_borrowers)
  6. Click the appropriate options and Save
