Monday Minutes: The Last Borrower

In this week’s Monday Minutes, Kelly and Jessie talk to Andrew about the Last Borrower in Koha. Andrew breaks down how the system preference StoreLastBorrower is separate from Last Returned By when viewing the details from the items tab including what table they are stored in.

System Preference

The StoreLastBorrower system preference allows you to store the last patron to borrow an item even if the patron has chosen to have their reading history anonymized.

If patron has chosen to have their reading history anonymized and you have StoreLastBorrower set to “Don’t store” then as soon as the item is checked in the last borrower will be anonymized.
