Monday Minutes: Seamlessly Add Patron Images

In this week's Monday Minutes, Kelly and Jessie show a new feature coming in 22.05, which will allow libraries to utilize a webcam or library camera to take and upload a patron image easily!

System Preference

The system preference, patronimages, will need to be set to ALLOW if a library would like to upload pictures to the patron account.

Patron Images

Once a library has enabled this system preference, in a patron account, the option for edit/adding a patron image will appear when a mouse is hovering over the patron image area.

Now there will be a pop-out model window that will allow the library to upload an image, or take a picture from the computer or a web-cam.

Once a picture has been taken, and/or retaken, then this picture can be immediately uploaded to the patron's account. This image can also be downloaded to the computer.
