Monday Minutes: Inventory Filtering

Jessie and Kelly show a new filter that has been added to the Inventory tool. It is great to see a bug that was filed in 2010 (bug 4307) to get into Koha.

Inventory Tool

A new filter has been added to the built-in Inventory tool that is in Koha. This filter will allow libraries to not only filter by Home/Current library, shelving location, call number range but now by Item Type!

The inventory tool overall has the ability to allow for libraries to have a prescanned list of barcodes, scan in a list of barcodes or retrieve items in a specific area in your library to be inventoried. This new filter for Item Type will allow librarians to use this in both processes.

A staff member can choose one item type or multiple to filter their search.
