Monday Minutes: Adding Social Networks in the Koha OPAC

In this week's Monday Minutes, Kelly and Jessie will show you how to customize which social media icons are visible in the detailed view of the record, making it easy for patrons to share information with their social media network. This enhancement is from Bug 23791 - Allow granular control of social networks enabled by SocialNetworks syspref.

System Preference

  1. Navigate to Administration › System preferences
  2. Search for SocialNetworks.
  3. Select the desired social network links to be visible in the OPAC detail pages.
    1. Select All
    2. Email
    3. Facebook
    4. LinkedIn
    5. Twitter
