Aspen Discovery: Integration with LibCal

Aspen Discovery users can now view events from LibCal, with SpringShare, which is indexed in Aspen. When searching for events, patrons can narrow events by a variety of facets including Age Group, Program Type, Branch, and more. Events can be displayed on a calendar and will populate in explore more when relevant. If registration for a program is required, the patron will have a link to register on LibCal and take them directly to registration.

Events Results

When a user searches directly in events, they can narrow events by various facets including Age Group/Audience, Program Type, Branch, Room, Registration Required, and event type.

Explore More

Aspen Discovery users will be able to view events in the Explore More section of Aspen when relevant.

Events Calendar

An events calendar can be embedded right within Aspen Discovery, making it easy to explore what events are going on at the Library!
