Monday Minutes: Koha's Interlibrary Loan Module
In this week's Monday Minutes, Nick and Jessie show off Koha's Interlibrary Loan Module.
Bug 35570 - Add a generic master form in ILL
This new feature incorporates the ILL backend, previously known as "FreeForm" into Koha's Interlibrary Loan Module. It will be labeled as "Standard".
You enabling the ILLModule system preference without having to install additional third-party backends. Libraries still can connect to other backends (if you are using a 3rd party service for ILL).
Enable the Module
The ILL (Interlibrary loans) module adds the ability to request and manage loans or copies of material. Patrons can submit a request via the OPAC from the your interlibrary loan requests tab of their account. Library staff can then review and process those requests. Alternatively, staff can place requests themselves from the staff client.
System Preferences
Navigate to More > Administration > System preferences > Interlibrary loans
Select: ILLModule This preference is used to enable Koha’s ILL module which is used to manage ILL requests.
