Monday Minutes: HTML Customizations

In this week's Monday Minutes, Nick and Jessie talk about HTML Customizations in the Tools Module. Koha’s HTML customization tool allows staff to post content to the OPAC and Staff Interface.

HTML Customization

Navigate to More > Tools > Additional tools > HTML customizations.

Staff will need the edit_additional_contents permission (or the superlibrarian permission) will have access to this tool.

  1. To add content:
    1. Click +New entry (to use the wysiwyg editor)
    2. Click the down arrow (to use the text editor)
  2. Enter information for the following
    1. Display Locations: list of all display locations below for details about each one
    2. Library: - all libraries or a specific location
    3. Publication Date: Use the publication date field to control from which date your content appears
    4. Expiration Date: Use the expiration date field to automatically stop showing the content when it is no longer relevant
    5. Appear in position: you decide in what order your content appear, when there is more than one in the same display location
  3. Click Save
