ALA Ideas: Empowering Your Young Library Patrons

I hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July! For those that attended ALA in Chicago it was great to see you and from the sounds of it you had as much fun as we did. For those that were unable to attend, you were missed and we hope to see you soon.

ByWater Solutions would like to remind those that attended ALA and to tell those unable to attend that Google had cool booth to promote their Summer Coding Pilot Program (Libraries across the US are Ready to Code). This is a great opportunity for schools and public libraries to work more closely with their library youth to teach them how to code. Oh, and don’t worry, you don’t have to be a programmer to be able to offer and teach the program. Please be sure to read the information in the links to find out what you need to do to qualify.

Cheers!
