This first day of the KohaCon12 hackfest has been very productive. This morning started with a presentation by Chris Cormack on Template Toolkit and the new features and flexibility it brings over HTML::Template. He covered topics including plugins, filters and views. After lunch he also covered the Gerrit. Gerrit is a free, web-based collaborative code review tool that integrates with Git.
During this time, the 28 hackfest attendees began a friendly competition, awarding one ‘kitten saved’ for each Patches Signed-off, marked as Passed QA, or rescued via modification.
